💻About the Unit
تُعد Information Technology Unit بFaculty of Science – Cairo University إحدى الوحدات الداعمة للتحول الرقمي وتطوير البنية التكنولوجية بالكلية، وتعمل على توفير بيئة تقنية متكاملة تسهم في رفع كفاءة العمل الأكاديمي والإداري، وتحسين جودة الخدمات الإلكترونية المقدمة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة والعاملين والطلاب. وتضطلع الوحدة بمهام إدارة وتشغيل البنية التحتية للشبكات ونظم المعلومات والخدمات الإلكترونية، إلى جانب تقديم الدعم الفني والمساهمة في تطوير الحلول الرقمية التي تساعد على سرعة إنجاز الأعمال ودقة تداول المعلومات. كما تعمل الوحدة على تعزيز الاستخدام الفعّال والآمن لتكنولوجيا المعلومات، ومواكبة التطورات التقنية بما يدعم توجه الكلية والجامعة نحو التحول الرقمي وتطوير الخدمات المؤسسية.

Mission
To provide and manage a reliable and advanced technological infrastructure, support information systems, electronic services, and networks within the Faculty, and provide continuous technical support and digital service development in accordance with best technical practices, ensuring easy access to information, improved performance efficiency, strengthened digital transformation, and effective support for educational, research, and administrative activities.

Supporting and developing the technological infrastructure and networks to ensure efficient and continuous services across the Faculty.
Supporting Information Systems
Supporting and operating management information systems and contributing to improved data flow and accurate institutional services.
Developing Electronic Services
Contributing to the development and management of electronic services to improve performance and facilitate access to digital services.
Enhancing Continuity & Security
Supporting the continuity of technical services and promoting the secure and organized use of information technology within the Faculty.
